In the UK some heavy objects, such as bells, have their weight given in an archaic 3 number format.
This handy converter will transform such weights into kilograms or vice versa.

The perceived wisdom is that a Kilobyte is a thousand bytes i.e. using the decimal system it's 10 to the power of 3
However, for data storage sometimes the actual value is 1024 bytes (2 to the power of 10). This is for historical reasons to do with using binary numbers in computing.
This converter will calculate the values for data storage in these cases, or select the option to use decimal instead
